Armada Oil, Inc. and its subsidiaries are based in Dallas, Texas.  Armada is a growth-oriented, publicly traded Exploration and Production (E & P) company with a definitive focus on growing reserves and net asset value per share, primarily through the acquisition, development and enhancement of multiple onshore oil and natural gas producing properties as well as the development of highly diversified developmental drilling opportunities, both conventional and unconventional.

As a result of its current asset reallocation strategy, Armada has sold an interest in its producing oil properties in Plaquemines and Lafourche Parishes in Louisiana and has acquired the first of what it expects to be several additional midcontinent properties. The company now owns developmental properties in Woodson County, Kansas, Garfield and Major Counties, OK and Wyoming County, NY.  In addition the company controls a strategic acreage position in and around the Laramie and Hanna Basins in southern Wyoming in the liquids-rich Niobrara Play.  Drilling programs in a number of these areas is expected to begin soon.

The acquisition of existing production with high potential for enhancement is an important part of the business model.  On the drilling side, Armada strives to drill multi-well, repeatable projects in low-risk basins with high potential for the creation of significant recoverable reserves.  Such areas provide a dynamic for the creation of substantial shareholder value.  All available technologies are utilized to identify and drill optimal well locations in order to maintain high drilling success rates.
